The Journals
The pages of the Silverwing Journals are filled with a story. It’s the story of my friends and me taking requests to deal with strange creatures and troubleshoot magic. It’s a story set on an Earth like yours, in a town like ones you’ve seen, except with lots of magic, a race of colorful, horned people, and some mildly mismatched history to accommodate those differences. More than any of that, it’s a story about facing the thoughts that scare us and finding a path towards happiness.
The original journals are a hodgepodge of notes, observations, and miscellany by me, Liara Everett. What you’ll find here are not my original journals, but rather a transcription of the story that saturates their pages. Chamomile includes some of my notes to “complement the transcription”, which is kind of embarrassing, but if it makes things easier to understand, I guess it’s fine. I die a little bit every time he uses my dumb, goofy doodles, though.
I hope you enjoy reading our story!
The Author
All of the work done to present this story to you is done by my friend and colleague, Chamomile. He’s pretty great. I could say more, but I’ll just let him introduce himself.
I’m Chamomile. I’m a researcher of mathemagic at Brightfeather Academy of Magic. I do some mana reading and transcription as a hobby, and I’m glad to use it here to tell this story. Other than that, I like streaming and games and comics and manga and museums and food and the list goes on and on. It’s probably easier to just check my socials for yourself. That’s the best way to keep up with everything I do, including Silverwing Journals.
If you’d like to contact me another way, you can use the contact form available here or email me directly at chamomile@silverwingjournals.com.
Socials
Dropping character for a moment, I’m just one guy doing everything related to this webcomic: writing, art, lettering, website stuff, and so on. I know very little about any of these things. I studied math. I’ll keep doing my best, so wish me luck.
If you’d like to support Silverwing Journals, please share it with anybody who you think might enjoy it, even just the tiniest bit. And if you want, I guess you can buy me a cup of tea on Ko-fi, if that’s your cup of tea.
Thanks for reading Silverwing Journals!
